Our Motto Learn and Serve was rooted and initiated by Rev. Fr. Joseph D’Souza in the year 1969-70. He gave a frame work to this motto by providing educational and moral guidance to the under privileged. Thus Rev.Fr.Joseph D’Souza laid the stepping stones to success of the St. Joseph’s High School as it exists today.

With the providence of the God and under the able guidance of Rev.Fr.Dhanraj the then prinicipal, this school was named as the Church School during his tenure from 1970-75.

Today’s infrastructure of St. Joseph’s High School can be credited back to the efforts put in by Rev.Fr.Benny in seeking out the necessary authorizations from the concerned authorities to lay the foundation to this magnificent of what it is today.

“Rev. Fr. U.J.Chinnappa Reddy having a panoptical view of the great values of St. Joseph’s – DUTY, HONESTY, OBEDIENCE, STRENGTH and SIMPLICITY envisioned him to Christen the “Church School” to “St. Joseph’s High School”.

Rev.Fr.B.Albert an altruist empowered on the values on which St. Joseph’s was set forth by his vision and zeal turned this institution into a model now worth mentioning.

Our History

1981 - 83

Rev.Fr.Gnana Prakasam

Rev.Fr.Gnana Prakasam took over St.Joseph’s as principal and constructed the ground floor of the main block. He got permissions from the concerned for class I to VII.

1983 -1996


Can be called the The Golden Era of St. Joseph’s High School with Rev.Fr.V.K.Swamy as the principal. He was a dynamic personality with splendid administrative and academic skills. He completed all the construction work including the new block, a computer centre, a basketball court and a stage.

1996 - 2001


The administration was taken up by Rev.Fr.T.M.Mathew from 1996-2001.He built a recreation corner for tiny tots and also upgraded the computer lab.

2001 - 2007


Rev.Fr.G.Anthony took over as principal in 2001. He made computer education a must for teachers and updated them. He also introduced NCC, Scouts and Guides. A multipurpose hall was constructed by him to help conduct the different activities of the school.

2007 - 2010


Rev.Fr.S.Bernard took charge as principal and correspondent of the school. He was a strict disciplinarian and administrator and always gave scholarly advice to the students to help the character formation.

2010 - 2012


Rev.Fr.T.M.Mathew took charge as correspondent and Rev.Fr.Dominic Savio as principal.


Rev.Fr.U.J.Chinnappa Reddy

The administration later was then taken up by Rev.Fr.U.J.Chinnappa Reddy as the correspondent and Rev.Fr.G.Show Reddy as principal in the year 2012, where they gave their best to keep the school banner flying high.


Rev.Fr.Dominic Sylvester

In May, 2013, the charge was handed over to Rev.Fr.Dominic Sylvester as the Principal and Rev.Fr.U.J.Chinnappa Reddy continues as the Correspondent of the school.



Now in May, 2014, the charge was handed over to Rev.Fr.Gabriel as the Principal and Rev.Fr.Uday Baskhar as the vice Principal of the school.
